On Sunday, March 27th, we returned home to a flooded basement and no heat. Monday morning we made a call to Kapala and my husband talked to Emily describing our crisis. With temperatures of 45 degrees inside and 20’s outside we were in dire straits. We were emptying out belongings from ice water filled storage containers in a freezing house and staying in a hotel with two cats who just wanted to be home. Emily went to work and sent inspectors out that day. They determined that the furnace would need to be replaced. Mark showed up later that day to assess our needs and ordered a new furnace. Emily and her team quickly worked to put all the steps in place to have a new furnace installed by Friday. Crystal and Aaron arrived first thing Friday morning and installed the new furnace. Everyone involved was professional and extremely sensitive and compassionate to our situation. It has been two weeks since installation and we are very pleased with our new furnace. Thank you all for making a miserable situation a bit more manageable.
