What’s Included in a Clean & Check?
A Clean & Check is Kapala’s comprehensive HVAC maintenance service. Once complete, our technician will provide you with a comprehensive report on the results of your maintenance visits, along with any recommendations to improve comfort and efficiency.
A uniformed, trained, and certified technician will begin with a series of checks and clean critical components of your furnace and air conditioner per the chart below.
15-Point Heating Clean & Check:
Our heating system maintenance includes:
- Test sequence of operation
- Complete safety inspection
- Measure gas pressure
- Lubricate motors and bearings
- Clean condensate and drain lines
- Inspect electrical connections
- Check motor amp draw
- Test blower capacitor
- Clean burners and pilot assembly
- Test ignitor
- Inspect the heat exchanger
- Perform combustion analysis
- Clean flame sensor
- Clean blower compartment (in place)
- Calibrate thermostat
11-Point AC Clean & Check
Our AC maintenance service includes:
- Test sequence of operation
- Measure refrigerant pressures and temperatures
- Lubricate motors and bearings
- Clean condensate and drain lines
- Inspect electrical connections
- Check motor amp draw
- Test capacitor
- Chemically clean the outdoor condenser coil
- Clean evaporator coil (in place)
- Treat the condensate drain pan
- Calibrate thermostat
